We are working towards ISO20121, the standard for sustainability in events, and towards ISO9001 – the world’s most established quality framework. We expect to achieve compliance with these standards during 2019.


Our Story

  • 2007

    Duncan and Tom set up Seamless after discovering Giant Hat Tipis and felt the call for the great outdoors. Tom's background in construction and outdoor sports along with Duncan's eight years in engineering was a perfect combination of skills to start up a new Tipi rental business and in order to prove their business model. At the same time during 2007, Terry founded a company called Liquid Canvas with the aim to import the stretch tent concept to Europe and what a better place to start than home to the worlds most renowned event organisers – London.

  • 2008

    Tom and Duncan continued to search for unique innovative and striking structures and they came across Terry at Liquid Canvas and worked together on some projects. Seamless and Liquid Canvas grew at an amazing pace and enjoyed some healthy competition.

    Liquid Canvas built the world’s largest stretch tent for a function at Jumeriah Beach in Dubai, UAE.

    Seamless supplied structures in the UK to Sunseeker, The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, The Henley Festival, provided a canopy for a drinks reception in Westminster Abbey Gardens.

  • 2009

    After two years of working together and sharing many similar values and ambitions Tom, Terry and Duncan formalised their working relationship and merged to form Ten By Fifteen Structures Ltd. The name came from the most popular size of our rental structures and was chosen as the logo would translate into most languages – 10x15.

    Key events were brand activations for Jim Beam at Bestival, Phyllis Court at Henley Royal Regatta, corporate team building with Ray Mears and Nokia in a forest, the Cartier International After Party at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club and built all of the areas for the award-winning Feast of Dorset.

  • 2010

    We provided tents for Ride across Britain moving the base camp over 100 miles every day from John O Groats to Lands’ End. This involved meticulous logistical planning with leap-frogging crews to ensure a continuous seamless operation.

    Key events were brand activation for Microsoft’s re-launch of Hotmail, Tesco’s summer party, Channel 4’s studios in Westminster and the ultimate Rock wedding for 500 guests. We also completed our first functions in Menorca, Spain, The Edinburgh Festival and St. Tropez, France.

  • 2011

    A year of rapid growth. We started a working partnership with The Stunning Tents Company. exercising our option to purchase The Stunning Tents Company at the end of the year, bringing together a great mix of people and ideas that continues to evolve and grow.

    We delivered functions in Tuscany and Rome, and built the first stretch tent on a floating platform in St Tropez.

    We formalised our business interest in the South of France by employing a regional business manager at our warehouse in Pegomas just outside of Cannes.

  • 2012

    Whist being challenged by the weather, one of the wettest on record, we saw 25% growth in the business supported by the large contracts we secured around the Olympic Games and the Queens Jubilee. It was a great year of big celebrations.

  • 2013

    We started the year with a new fleet of Ford Ranger vehicles to ensure we were able to go about and deliver at the highest standard. Our client base had grown in French Rivera since our first event there in 2007. We had been servicing it from the UK, with one of the team there pretty much every other week, we took the plunge and took on our own premises with an office and set up a team locally. This was helped by Joh De La Haye buying into the business and taking the reins to set up 10x15 Rivera.
    We also expanded our custom fit installs, fitting challenging spaces such as rooftop gardens.

  • 2014

    We moved to a bigger warehouse and saw a big surge in weddings, which was mostly due to our clients not wanting to get married in 2013 thinking it was an unlucky year. Whilst this seems funny, it does show how as an industry we have to constantly review and adapt. We completed a record number of jobs including our biggest private job yet, combining our tents with tipis with Stunning Tents to create a brilliant event.

  • 2015

    The year of the roadshow, we were contracted by several big corporate brands through their event planners to deliver events all over the country, some of which were doing back to back events all over the UK and into France. At times it was more of a logistics project than a tent building project as freight was going one way whist the crew were travelling via planes, trains and automobiles in the other.

  • 2016

    We launched our 2nd office in France based in Provence with Simon Marrion at the helm. In the UK we started to do more pop up venues such as The Waterfront Enclosure at the riverside at Henley Royal Regatta and several other large sporting events.

  • 2017

    We spent the first 2 months of the year moving into our own new warehouse in Theale as we had outgrown our previously rented premises. With the location of the new secure yard and bigger building being just 100m from a train station and 400m from the M4 it made the perfect location to base ourselves in our dream forever home.

    We also proudly supported the BBC's Children in Need for the Dine and Disco organised by Radio 2 and Chris Evans with the Jeff Lynne's ELO and Texas performing under our tents at Chewton Glen. A very special event which we have continued to support every year since.

  • 2018

    With the season kicking off with events in Val’D’Isere and Montengro at the same time we had a great start to the year and saw quite a lot of travel, with Tuscany fast becoming more and more popular as a wedding destination for international weddings.

  • 2019

    Our best year to date, with the strongest team we have ever had, both in the UK and France. It is the team that really makes what we do possible and we are proud to say we have the best in the business. Stretch tents are not easy to master, especially in some of the locations we put them into, but that is why we love what we do. We finished the year building the largest stretch tent ever, built over truss for a 7 week install in Hyde Park for the wonderful Winter Wonderland.

  • 2020

    Having come into the year in the best position to date, the world has turned upside down. We have reacted accordingly and are still going strong. As I am writing this, we are starting to plan some builds again in the next coming weeks, preparing some of the venues we work with for opening and then seeing what private events will or won’t be able to go ahead this year. Many of our clients have moved the date of their event into next year.

  • The day was blistering at points and we had so many kids, it was a total life saver for keeping them shaded.
